The Iron Man

Adapted from the poem byTed Hughes. Nobody knows how he was made. Nobody knows where he came from. The opening lines of the play which tells the story of the Iron Man who eats everything made of metal. He scares everyone - except for one child who feels sorry for him. The villagers try to trap the iron man but he escapes and it all looks hopeless, until the child has a brainwave that solves the problem for everyone. Lots of action and a happy ending.
