As always, Lisa was brilliant on Friday! We love having her in school. The children get so much out of it and it’s a great way to engage the children in a topic.
We will look forward to the next one!

"Just wanted to say thanks again for a fantastic day on Thursday.
As usual, I saw the children's confidence grow enormously but it was particularly good to see some of the quieter children become so outgoing so quickly.
It's brilliant to watch it happen within a few hours. Some positively bounced into school the next day! You are such a great teacher."!

Just to say a huge thank you ...
"Just to say a huge thank you to Lisa who delivered a fantastic play in a day at Seaton CE Junior School. The children are still talking about it and I hear them acting out parts on the playground. A wonderful experience!"

Thank you for two wonderful days...
"Thank you for two wonderful days which children and staff have both thoroughly enjoyed. Your friendly yet professional manner has enabled our pupils to learn through performance and has resulted in the blossoming of their confidence. Children who have been reluctant to join in with previous performances were keen to partake in your workshops, having seen how much their peers enjoyed them. The workshops allowed them to access and understand the story behind classic tales, such as The Nutcracker and so were educational as well as enjoyable. You are a credit to your company and we will certainly be looking to work with you again in the future."

...a brilliant experience...
"We met on Monday last week at St. Bridget's Primary. We spoke about how I was in the yr 6 class when you first visited the school for play in a day and how I had carried on with performing arts throughout school. I have set up my own youth theatre in Egremont. I was wondering if you would be interested in coming to one of our rehearsals to do a play in a day workshop. I think it would be a brilliant experience just to show the children what can be done in a day and hopefully impress their parents at the end as well, as sessions like this always do. I know personally at school I loved doing these kind of workshops and the play in a day has definitely been an experience I've remembered and certainly contributed to my love of performing arts. This is something I'd like to share with the group."

Thank you very much for...a memorable day...
"Thank you very much for once again coming and providing us with a memorable day. You are brilliant with the children and they always look forward to your visits. It's lovely watching some children who are often quite shy and reserved really come out of themselves. I only realised recently that your brilliance extended to writing the plays and you did a fabulous job with your new pre-history play ('The Three Ages') It really consolidated the children's learning. We look forward to seeing you again in the new year."

Play In a Day allows teachers to see an alternative side to pupils
We have had Lynx T.I.E. in school with us countless times now because we love to see our children enjoying something completely different to what happens in their classroom. Children shine in Play in a Day when they may not in other subjects of the curriculum and it allows us, as their teachers, to see the alternative side of some pupils and perhaps a skill we hadn't spotted before. Everyone participates and gains confidence through the day and are proud of their performances at the end of the afternoon. Lynx have a brilliant way of working out who can do what very quickly, simply through games and exercises. I have seen children who are on the autistic spectrum relate well to the day. Above all, the children are working together as a unit and interact in a different way to support one another as the play progresses.
Stephen Leigh, Greengate Junior School, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria
Just one day makes such a difference
‘The children come in the next day refreshed, motivated and buoyed up by their experience, and all it takes is just one day out from behind their desks’’.
Richard Gibson, head teacher, Ashchurch Primary School, Gloucestershire
The children are inspired and motivated
‘The large choice of topics support our learning in the classroom. Through drama the children are able to put themselves in others shoes and so are inspired and motivated to find out even more about the topic…’
Moira Croskell, Head teacher, Dickleburgh Primary Academy, Norfolk
‘I can’t’ became ‘I Can’
The play today, ‘Follow Your Dreams’, has certainly changed “I can’t” into “I can”. I have seen a remarkable growth in confidence from a lot of the children.”
Mr Hunter, Year 6 TA, All Saints Primary, Appley Bridge, Lancs
So many choices
What an excellent lot of choices, I have a short list as long as my arm!
Christopher Wane, Teacher, Poulton le Sands Primary, Morecambe, Lancs
I learned so much
I learned so much about the Greeks and it was much more fun learning about them through a play than a history lesson. The whole class had so much fun learning the play and the rest of the school thought it was brilliant!
