Norah's Ark
‘Norah’s Ark’ is a play for primary and middle schools that received its first showing at the Natural History Museum.
Norah learns that she has been specially selected to save all the remaining world’s animals. She battles against authority and prejudice to build an exact replica of Noah’s Ark. However, when the animals are on board, she discovers the hundreds of empty spaces originally filled with species now extinct. With no time to lose, she must make a new start on a distant planet, before any more animals disappear. Each time the production has toured it has captured the imaginations of many 7-9 year olds, who have based classroom conservation projects around the piece.
