Hungry and poor, seeking food and fortune, Dick Whittington sets off to London from Gloucester. A kind merchant takes pity on him, he makes friends with a cat called Percy, falls in love with a girl, makes a lot of money and becomes Lord Mayor - oh no he doesnít! Oh yes he does! Great fun for all.
